Quirky Cat Lady
A peek into my private life
The older I get, the more I see how women are described as having gone mad, when what they've actually become is knowledgable and powerful and fucking furious. -Sophia Heawood
I am an eccentric cat lady who often fosters, and adopts animals. My compassionate nature has lead me to have three cats and one dog. Although I may seem like a crazy cat lady, my favorite animal is a raccoon. Why does this matter? Well for one if you have pet allergies please let me know so I can accommodate you as best as possible.
In addition to my love for animals I LOVE the outdoors. I go on yearly camping trips with friends and love to go hiking. When I lived in northern California nature was more readily assessable I would hike and camp on a regular basis. Now that I am back in Chicago I have to try a bit harder to get my nature fix. I love to travel and when I do I make sure to take the scenic route, you may even catch me meditating under a tree. I love to travel and have yet to go to Europe, however I have been to the Caribbean and Mexico several times. When I was in Costa Rica I hiked ten miles over an inactive volcano, swam in the cool waters of its crater to then rock climb out. I live for adventure, but balance that with my love to spa.
My heritage is primarily Italian and Irish with a touch of Scandinavian. I grew up in the kitchen, learning how to make sauce from scratch and essentially become the best homemaker. My favorite dish that I am known for is my meat red sauce. However, my favorite food when I am out on the town is ramen, and sushi. I attempt to be healthy but I am a glutton for the rich and savory. Fun fact about me, I hate sweets unless its dark chocolate in moderation. I always prefer more steak instead of ordering dessert. Cooking is a large part of what makes up my personality.
